APB Clothing brings you design, originally created by renowned artist Russell Forester as a painting, Red White & Glue, which expresses both a warning and hope for american country.
The message is no less poignant and powerful today than when it was created. In it, our flag has become fragmented but is not destroyed. Russell believed - as many of us believe now - that with dedication and hard work these pieces can come together and become whole again. The continuing choice is ours, every day - stand back and allow the present deconstruction to go on, or to pitch in at every level and re-build.
The issues might be different from when Forester initially painted Red White & Glue, but the urge to reassemble the flag into a cohesive whole is just as imperative. The pieces are all there; the choice is ours. We can let the flag and what it stands for deconstruct further, or we can individually and collectively contribute to the reconstruction of all that makes this country unique and proud.
